    Re: ahhhhhhhhh.......SNAKE!!!!!!

Yankee Mary - you are like me! I have to pick them and up and remove them from my house all the time. I guess I am just used to them.

As far as spiders and lizards go - unless it is a widow or recluse, I leave them alone. Spiders eat mosquitos (among other thing) and lizards eat roaches, ants, and water bugs. I have a herd of geckos living in my garage!!

You should always be cautious when picking up a snake, unless you know what it is - FOR SURE. Not like you are going to miss a rattler (LOL) but there are others that are poisonous, or even just aggressive enough to bite. I have been bitten before (by a boa - no biggie) but it hurt REALLY bad!

I normally do not kill spiders either...I yell for my oldest to do it. He refuses most of the time...brat. Dh just picks the spider up and puts him out side...that ticks me off because eventually he will find his way back inside and they do so creep me out. Now lizards are fine, they run around here everywhere, not something I ever seen in Ohio though.
I imagine being bitten really hurt, did it feel like a cut with a knife or what? Just curious, because I am sure one day I will be bit...lol.
The more you complain, the longer God makes you live.
