Re: I got a question for al of you?
Kind of a funny direction this thread turned. I grew up in a blue collar family. My husband worked his fanny off to put himself through law school and to raise his family only to suffer brain damage at age 42. I hate to see all lawyers lumped together, just like any other group of people lumped together. There are good and bad in any group. I have a sweet disabled husband who I just celebrated our 42nd anniversary with June 1st and I hate to see him and his profession bashed. There are lots of lawyers out there just barely scraping out a living just like everyone else. It's a tough world for many of us and it is just getting worse. Life isn't fair. No one ever said it would be. Some people just get the breaks and some don't. Some just make their own breaks and some don't.
Hard work is admirable but all people with money did not get there because of hard work and many who work extremely hard will always just barely eck out a living.
Now to the sitcoms. I guess we all notice the differences. I find that it is surprising that except maybe for RoseAnn who was most like our life , there is never anything in the house out of place. Rich or poor on tv, the houses are always immaculate. Mine isn't. And if you want a real laugh, look at the soaps.
Glad I got that off my chest. LOL

Re: I got a question for al of you?
If you looked at my thread where I mentioned the fact that 43 million Americans without health insurance and my friend not being able to buy meds you would have seen that I posted that there were not any news programs addressing these problems, not sitcoms. I mentioned sitcoms in relation to the blue collar worker not being represented on tv.
Ignorance is bliss but the question is can we afford it?
