This is one of my fave ones to make from scratch

    BONNIE BUTTER CAKE

    1 3/4 cups sugar
    2/3 cup butter, softened
    2 egg
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 1/4 cups milk

Heat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour oblong pan, 13x9x2 inches, or two 9-inch or three 8-inch round layer pans. Mix sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Beat on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 5 minutes. Beat in flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk on low speed. Pour into pan(s). Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, oblong 45 to 50 minutes, layers 30 to 35 minutes; cool.
    Frost, if desired.

    Serving Size: 1

    3 Cups Flour
    2 Cup Sugar
    6 Tablespoons Baking Cocoa
    1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
    1 Teaspoon Salt
    12 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
    2 Tablespoon Vinegar
    2 Teaspoon Vanilla
    2 Cup Cold Water

Mix ALL of the ingredients together. Do NOT overly mix. Pour into a un-greased 9 x 13" baking dish. Bake for about 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees.
(Insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean then the cake is done.)
Frost as soon as it has cooled for a bit.

    Re: can anyone help me??

Mama, here is my melt in your mouth cakes.........these are awesome! They take care of ANY craving....chocolate, peanut butter, cream cheese, etc...

1 2/3 cups (11-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate Morsels, divided
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    2 large eggs, divided
    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup quick or old-fashioned oats
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup butter, softened
    1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

    Steps:

PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Line twenty-four 2 1/2-inch muffin cups with paper bake cups.

MICROWAVE 1 cup of morsels in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; STIR. The morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until melted; cool.

BEAT cream cheese and granulated sugar in medium mixer bowl until combined. Beat in 1 egg. Stir in the remaining unmelted morsels.

COMBINE flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon in small bowl. Beat butter and brown sugar in large mixer bowl until combined. Beat in remaining egg, applesauce, and melted morsels. Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling each about one-third full. Spoon about 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture over batter in each cup.

BAKE for 25 minutes. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. (Cupcakes may have dip in centers during cooling.)
