A late lunch is my favorite--all the regular lunch people are gone, dinner people haven't shown up yet. I HATE waiting for a table,especially at the mediocre chain restaurants that are so popular, so if it gets to be after 5 on a Saturday we don't go out, or we find a local NON-CHAIN restaurant to try. I can't for the life of me see why anyone would wait in line to eat at Chili's, or Applebees, or Outback, any of those overrated and unimpressive places that are everywhere. Can you tell I am all for the little guys?

I like going out for breakfast & dinner/supper. 
We don't get to eat out for breakfast much anymore though.

My favorite=going out to eat breakfast as well. Though I don't get to as the DH doesn't like breakfast *sob*

I like going out for lunch as well. Not to be mean but the kiddies are all in school and DH works nights so we never do dinner together so on the rare occasions that we slip out for lunch we can relax and enjoy a peaceful meal together, catch up and not have to fix kids plates, cater to them, yell or pull my hair out.

I've always liked going to Waffle House in the middle of the night. Not to eat but to be with friends. Fun stuff
