Thread: Pic of my Boo...the CAG

She had her back to me, and I called her name, and she turned around.

I take her outside for short periods of time, she isn't clipped, but so far doesn't seem to want to fly(I have only every seen her fly once, and only a few feet, and inside the house)

She is a plucker(mainly her chest) When she gets upset(feels abandoned--if I am gone all day) she will try to pluck herself bald(chest) If I can get a good pic, I will take one of her front, she is starting to look pretty (compared to the bald chest she had about a month and a half ago) She is about 19, and can live to well over 60

Here is a frontal of her. I have found that if I change her toys alot, and give her things to chew on, she is less likely to pluck. (favs right now are a doggie chew rope and a knotted wash rag)

How pretty...I would never take mine out Dexter would for sure fly away. He has free roam of the house and trust me he will take it..He flies all over. Its so kool your won't fly away...I am a bit jealous.

A childhood friend had an African Gray that would take your gum out of your mouth!! He did say, "Got gum?" before he took it - so I guess that was fair warning..
