as some of you know the circumstances behind how I lost my job

anyways I am looking for something I can do at home I was thinking about getting into selling avon I went to thier website and sighned up they said someone would be getting in contact woth me shortly I would just like to know the ends and outs of it like how much money to do think I could expect to make ? Iam also thinking about selling on e-bay but I would have to find a product that would go over good if anyone else here sells on e-bay I would appricate some pointers .

I just don't think I can work in anymore restaurants Iam just worn and stressed out.

I used to sell AVOn when I worked for Ryan's steakhouse-there were plenty of women working there with me and they all loved makeup so it was easy to sell to them. Both jobs actually got to be too much for me to handle but the selling AVON was the job I wanted to keep but without Ryan's I had no avon customers-LOL. So if you know a group of women that you think you could sell to then go for it. I think they usually do a free sign up thing every January if you can wait until then.

I sell Avon.If your looking for a quick fix income then Avon is not the answer.
I think i'm the only Rep who will admit that to you,lol.It takes time to build a business.Once you get established there is money in it though.If you get in Leadership and President's Club there's even more money.One other note, we can't sell on Ebay.How much money you make depends on how much you sell.

I am with okie on this one. It depends on how much money you are willing to make and how much effort you put into it. It is harder for me to get a big clientel due to working full time and selling this on the side as a hobby so to speak. Once you become a representative, sign up on the avon representative (your avon) and check out the bullentin board they have. Any questions you want answered, all you have to do is ask and there are a lot of nice ladies who have been doing this for quite some time that are more than willing to help out

I wish I could help you. I was addicted to buying Avon before getting married. No more "me" stuff. LOL My sister-in-law sold it and she never made enough to amount to anything.
I wanted something to do from home and I am seriously thinking about writing. Some magazines pay decent per story. For instance, Woman's World will pay you $250.00 for a weight loss story and $50.00 if your kids say something funny. I know that is not a form of real income but if you wrote a lot to different magazines you could make some money withnout working yourself to death in the restaurant industry. I worked as a manager for years and I know how demanding it is.
The library has books on magazines that accept articles. Just an idea.
