Thread: Need recipes for family reunion

Hey Cat, I'd love some of your recipes on a budget. As a few people here know, we are a family on a budget lol. If anyone else has any ideas of staples to keep on hand tell me. I have a difficult time cooking cuz my DH is yankee and I'm down home southern, so cooking gets interesting at my house. I tend to cook italian, oriental, german, and eastern european. I'm working slowly to introduce him to down home southern cooking as I learn to cook it (my mother never taught me to cook). So helpful ideas are appreciated.
