    Inner Ear Infection

Has anyone ever had this before? My mom was told that's what she has. She can't stand the dizziness or nausea. Can't say I blame her. How long does this normally lasts? She has been given meds for motion sickness. Thanks for any info!
Dear Lord, please give me the strength to not slap an idiot today......Amen.

    Re: Inner Ear Infection

This just happened to me not more than a month ago. I had a sort of inner ear infection.....mostly fluid. My Dr told me that it is a form of Vertigo. It is an infection-but viral. It is also related to allergies. I too could not stop the spinning. It was TERRIBLE!! I hope it never happens again. I have to take sudafed until June due to the allergie problems. I am worried b/c I have to get on a plane in a few days to fly. I am hoping that this won't happen again. My dizziness stopped within a few days...but driving and watching things spin (like my children!) was very difficult.

    Hope she feels better!

    Re: Inner Ear Infection

I had vertigo not long ago. They put me on the motion sickness meds too. I had it for about a week or so, it went away, then about a week later it came back for another week. I have been good for a couple of weeks now so I am hoping it is gone for good this time.
