That sounds quite odd in my opinion. Did the doctor say anything about why they feel she needs this instead of something else?

I agree it does sound odd. Has this been a continuing thing or has it just recently started?

Re: anyone's child take meds for bedwetting??
she said that most children who wet the bed skip the first stage of sleep the tells thier body to make a hormone that concentrates the urine. if they skip that part, then their body still amkes as much as if they were awake. this si not a hormone, but it helps act in the same way. the pharmasist said it was quite common.

she has alwyas wet the bed. they just wanted to wait and see if she outgrew it. but she is starting to stay at friend's house over night and doesn't want to have to take a pull up.

Ok, The reason I asked is I had my daughter trained then We had some tragic events to occur in our life and she feel back and We had to repotty train.
I hope this helps her. I know sometimes other kids can be real harsh about things like that.

they may not do anything until she is older. taht is what they told me. to wait until she was 7 and then bring her back if she was still wetting.

My son took the nose spray as well I don't remember the name of it but it had to be in the ice box and it worked really well after about 6 months he did not need it any more.
I speak my mind because it hurts to bite my tongue!

I had a niece that wet the bed, after trying many things, it ended up being a physical thing, they had to do surgery to stretch her euretha(SP?) which apparently is not uncommon , after that she never wet the bed again...
Why not learn to enjoy the little things - there are so many of them.

My son is almost 7 and still wets his bed....what is the name of the nasal spray? I am curious. I have even taken to waking him up before I go to be to make him go.
