Even if you don't plan to gamble, get a "Player's Card" for whatever hotel you're staying at. You can get discounts on food and other things you may need to purchase at the hotel. (10% off buffet)
I work with a lot of people who go there often - I will see if they will bring back a magazine of the different things going on there - If I get one I'll let you know and send it to you.

Oh - you can walk down the street and drink alcohol at the same time - there is one place, I forget the name - but on the same side of the street as the Flamingo, just a little beyond it on the same block - they had $1.00 bottle beer when I was there last - bought a few and just walked around with them (Had to take a pic of DH drinking on the street, since he is in law enforcement!)

At the venitian - beautiful scenery, and impromptu shows and acts taking place throughout.

I love Vegas, but I would caution against getting suckered into the time-share people. They offer you dinner/show tickets if you go to the time-share. Maybe some people have had good experiences with it, but we didn't.

Also, carry some water with you! We were there Memorial Day weekend and it was 106 and my husband walked me all up and down the strip. I thought I was going to die :-)

You don't know where you are staying, but I would recommend the San Remo as an inexpensive hotel that is fairly nice with a cute little casino. It is behind the Flamingo, so not really on the Strip, but close enough to be able to walk up and down the Strip, plus we took the Flamingo bus places :-)

Go to the Bellagio for the water show, it is free, and fun..don't take leaflet's from the people on the street's, it is smut..I don't care for Circus-Circus, but if you go, be prepared to wait in a long line for thier buffet, if you are a drinker, play a game for abit, they will give you free drinks, player's cards are good, don't forget to cash out before you go home..Treasure Island is fun for the show, which did change, I heard, I won very big there!
Also, look for street vendors for cheap T-shirt's, go to New York, New york, that is a fun one to kick around in, and you will be amazed at all the scant-glad waitresses, all good though.
I was on a plane that catered to buying cheap show tickets, see a show, they are fun too.
And the amusement parks indoors, I think Circus has one are fun too...
    Have FUN!!!!

At last....my love has come around..

Oh, I forgot to mention, it is off the strip, but The Orleans has (or at least had) a really good buffet. It was sectioned off into types of food like American, Chinese, Mexican, etc. I was afraid of my combination when I got back to the table (burritos, fried rice, shrimp, mongolian beef, bbq, salad, etc.), but my stomach handled it.
