Thread: What if anything are you afraid you'll run out of???

I don't stock up on anything. I buy on an as-needed basis. If I run out of something, I go to the store to get more. I always thought it'd be cool to have shelves of things, like at the store. So when I pull out a new bottle, there are 4 more behind it ~ lol ~ but I'm not that organized.

LOL, my mom's that way with Avon's Dew Kiss lipgloss. I sell Avon and she orders some from me every time they have it on sale. It's her favorite and she's convinced they'll discontinue it, since we both seem to have that kind of luck!

Wow, are you my long lost sister? LOL. The joke around here is my sock collection--I have one full size dresser drawer full of nothing but socks. I've even started stockpiling socks for my DH.

Other than that I don't really stockpile. I have lots of stuff, but not too much of any one thing. I guess I'm really just a packrat. LOL.

I stock up on Scott toilet paper like Mom did - currently have 42 rolls in the closet. Also Maxwell coffee 34.5 oz cans. Hubby insisted on that one. When it went down to $3.99 a can I stocked up. When he died last Dec., I still had 51 cans. I'm now sharing with one of the daughters. Why ever do we do this?

we must be triplets! 63 pairs, all white, summer and winter sizes no less...lol

We always have to have PEANUT BUTTER. It is one of the few things the ds will eat. And my dh, he is also a vegetarian. So the pb has to be in the closet. We also stock up on baked beans (see above). As for me, I just like to have my chocolate soy milk. And, yeah, I like having a decent amount of "pads."

Socks and underware/boxers...I rarely go to walmart without buying some...I can't help it...I think I am out of control...I washed whites today and did awhole full load of nothing but socks and we all still have a bzillion pairs still in our drawers...I also have at least 100 bars of soap and the funny thing is...everyone uses body wash...but I just can't pass up a good deal on soap..lol...I also currently have 50+ post it pads...all shapes, size and color...lol...but you can guarentee I never ever run out of M&Ms have to have them, they are my medication...lol.

I'm not afraid of running out of anything . . . . but I do stockpile stuff on sale. B1G1F cereal, papertowels, coffee . . . . anything B1G2 or 3F . . . . I'm there buying it up. Polish sausage, sandwich meat, salsa, u name it. TP I usually get a big thingie from Sams Club, but if there's a B1G1F in tp, I pick it up.
