I've had a great love for mythology since I was very young, and the name Syrinx is from my favorite Greek myth. This is actually the only board I belong to that isn't a mythology discussion board, come to think of it.

I am a teacher...not in California like many people think though. I teach 3 blocks of 8th grade communication arts which we abbreviate CA.

Mine is a Heavy Metal Band I made up in High School. The band never formed so I use it online.
