Ew, Gross! What's This?

I saw a white spot on my baby's gum, and when I touched it, it popped like a pimple! I mean a lot of, well, yucky stuff--not for the sqeamish. (Oh, help me, I am feeling "squeamed.") What in the world???? Anyone ever seen this before?

hold old is your baby?when my baby dd was crawling around she banged her mouth on the floor,and got a bump like that,it was absessed.she had to have it pulled.she is now 6 and is finnally growing a tooth there.good luck

She's 8 and 1/2 mos. It wasn't an abcess. It was actually very tiny, just like a pimple. And not to be gross, but I think I got all the gunk out. It looks clear now. Can't tell for sure, though. She is paranoid now and won't let me open her mouth. She has 2 teeth on the bottom but no sign of teething on top. This was on top front gum. Ew!

Nope, thrush is like a yeast infection, it isn't "pimples" like the OP described

Lucas used to get little white pimply things on his face, head, and gums. His doctor referred to them as milk bumps and said not to pop them, they'd go away on their own. They eventually did.
