On your monitor( the front) there are some buttons. press the menu(or select one) or which ever one will bring up a menu of options. use the plus or minus button to move through the menu. the degauss one will say degauss, and or, have a picture that looks like an upside down horse shoe magnet, with a slash through it. high light that, and press the same button you pressed to bring up the menu. when you select the degauss option, your screen will go all wavy for a couple of seconds, then straighten out.(you may have to do this a couple of times, depending on how bad the screen is) basically what this does is reset the magnification of your screen.
HTH if you have any more questions let me know. What brand of monitor do you have?

You might have to do it a couple of more times to get it straightened out completely, what happens is your screen builds up with bad magnetism, and when you degauss it, it takes it away (kinda like using a fabric softener sheet on something that has static cling)

Screen
Hello,
You may want to unplug and replug the plug that goes into the back of your monitor and then unplug and replug the plug from the back of your tower that goes to your monitor. Also, if you have recently moved your computer or have had the wires unplugged, it may be that the small prongs that make the connection may be bent in the plug going to the tower and/or the monitor. If all else fails, call Gateway. I also have a Gateway Computer and it may take a while for Tech Support to get on the line, but they will ALWAYS help you out! Good Luck!
