I'm sick....help!
Okay....so I have a nose thing and a coughing thing going (notice the very medical terminology). Anyway, I've blown my nose WAY too many times for any one human. I have red, dry skin around my nose now and I'm still blowing. Any advice for soothing?
Oh and any advice on good over the counter meds would be great....I've tried Tylenol Allergy Sinus and robitussin....HELP!!!
Wherever you go....there you are!

for my stuffy, runny nose I always use nasal spray(dollar general brand) . Alka Seltzer cold and flu works pretty good, if ya can deal with the taste of it.
as for the red, dry skin, use a small amt of vaseline and it'll help it out.

use either albertson's brand cold and sinus meds or alka seltzer (pill form).
little vasoline for the dry nose area

Definitely use the tissues that have the aloe lotion in them...can't remember the brand...they're a Godsend. And you probably could use a decongestant. Even something simple like Dimetapp will help dry you up. Mostly, as miserable as it is, it's likely a virus and needs to run its course. If it hangs on too long, see your doctor to rule out bronchitis or any other sort of upper respiratory infection.
Good luck! I know that's miserable stuff.

Alka Seltzer cold and flu --I swear by this stuff, and vicks in the vaporizer, that helps a lot.

I always take Nyquil - plus it knocks me right out so I sleep alot better too.
And with the nose thing - use the Puffs Plus with aloe and when your home or time for bed, cake the vaseline on your nose. It tickles it sometimes but it makes it feel so much better.
