Ouch a ticket. Out here in California if the tires touch the road at all without tags the car will be impounded.

nope, you would think since it was bought on presidents day and it was impossible to get tags that day and it was driven less than five miles it'd be o.k. but the cop said he had to give him a ticket and just be thankfull it wasn't impounded. if we had a different vehicle he would not have driven it to get tags and stuff but we don't. we've been with out transportation for over a month now.

I am so sorry to hear that your hubby got a ticket. That is crazy that you cant even drive it to get your tags!! Big hugs to you!!

In Missouri for driving an unlicensed vehicle it's $83 and another $10 for no seatbelt. Unfortunately I KNOW this, I mailed the check last week because hubby got the tickets when bringing his bosses old farm truck home and it's not licensed.

OMG Christy!! That is outrageous!! Here seatbelts are a huge fine not sure how much though cuz I always wear mine. It is big though.
Sometimes it is hard to let go of a memory, especially if you remind yourself of it everyday.
