microsoft excel - help please
When I click on one column and then try to move to another one, it wont let me. the cursor will lock in one row/column and then whereever i move it, it moves moves too and then Im unable to use the function keys at the top.
Can anyone tell me what the problem may be?

maybe you are locking onto the column with too long a click thus the program thinks you want to move the column somewhere. This kind of lock will freeze up all other functions until you click again to unlock it into its new position.
Just click real quickly and not too long.
If this doesnt work you may have somekind of bug in your program.
