I'm glad you're okay! I've never been in an earthquake b/4, but I've been in this museum that had an earthquake 'ride' that was supposed to show you what it feels like. It was pretty scary. I can't imagine feeling that and not being safe.

We had one here last spring. It was about 5 am, I felt the bed shaking and thought I was shaking my foot. Then I noticed the door was rattling. Turned on the TV later that day and it was all over the news. It made Dh's bedroom window slam and DD slept right through it.

I'm glad everything there is OK.

It's been all over the local news this evening. The earthquake measured 4.5 on the Richter{?}. We are near Roanoke but didn't feel anything, but the neighboring towns did. They are reporting now that there are so far no injuries and no major damage reported. They say that it was felt as far away as Maryland and Raliegh North Carolina.

We (in Oklahoma) had one early this morning. People were reporting that they didn't feel anything, but hear a lloud "crack" or "boom".

I didn't see or feel anything! LOL I have heard over the years that we have several a year, but rarely does anyone feel them.
