The song about Christmas Shoes I have never heard. But nowuth tears streaming down my cheeks, I understand what you mean, that is just the saddest thing I have ever heard.
Sometimes it is hard to let go of a memory, especially if you remind yourself of it everyday.

nobody ever stays home with me christmas day
dh works my kids go out with my mil and my mom lives in florida
my 2 brothers 1 live in VA the other is a junkie
and my passed away nov 4 1999 so iam always alone

I know just what you mean FBH. Yesterday I was sitting in the Dr.s waiting room with my Hubby. He was there for his annual check up. All they were playing was Christmas songs. I finally had to leave and wait in the truck for him to come out. This will be the saddest Christmas I have had in many years. Oh well.....

Christmas Shoes is a sad song. And how about the song "Christmas Carol"? That's heart wrenching. They always play "Angels Among Us" at Christmas time too. Brings a tear to my eye every time.
Silent Night never made me cry until they played it at my grandfather's funeral 3 years ago. (He died suddenly in mid-December...it was his favorite song.) Now I can't get through that one without crying.If the mailman knew that my heart races when the UPS man comes by, would he still bring me freebies?

without fail evryday..........driving to work i hear "Chrsitmas Shoes" on the radio and have to re-do the makeup before i go into work cuz i have been crying and driving!
Its such a sad song but beautiful alsoI finally found the one man not like all the rest!

I HATE THE CHRISTMAS SHOES...Christmas is supposed to be happy! Look, my mom's gonna die and I need money so I can get her some shoes so she looks nice for GOD....THAT JUST MAKES ME SOOOO HAPPY...I will stick with Rocking around the Christmas Tree.
