At my parents house, we would open all the wrapped presents under the tree on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning, we'd get all our stuff from Santa and he didn't wrap anything.(And we weren't allowed to go in there without first waking our parents and it couldn't be earlier than 6am).
This is how my family always did it and ditto for us. However, my husband's parents come over Christmas morning with wrapped presents for everyone. So, there's still gifts to unwrap on Christmas day.

We usually have our whole family get together on christmas eve and open our presents to each other then. That way we have christmas morning to ourselves and of course DD is up early for presents. Then she insist on a homemade pancake breakfast.

Christmas Gifts
Ever since I was little it was always one gift on Christmas Eve, so I have kept that tradition with my kids. The big Santa gifts are left unwrapped, but the small ones & some of the stocking stuff I do wrap. Lats year my daughter slept late on Christmas Morn & my son was having a fit waiting for her...This year she`s in a big girl bed & up with the chickens everyday so I told him if we don`t get up when we hear her she`ll have eveeything opened..LOl
I`m going Insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!
