Kasey Kahne Fan!
Post your low-carb food finds (Help me help myself!)
I am on the Atkins diet, but finding that I am running out of Low-Carb Ideas and am binging on sweets!
Can you please post any new Low-carb products that you may have found in stores (meijer, wal-mart, target), so that I may learn to help myself?
I also am not a big cooking fan, so any, almost prepared food items would be great!
Thank you!
New Low-Carb products I have seen:
Breyers Carb Right Ice cream 4g
Breyers Carb Right Ice Cream Bars 4g
Lean Cuisine microwaveable meals 15-19g
Atkins Bread, White or Multigrain, 4/g per slice, in the frozen section
Atkins Bagels, plain, 4/g per bagel, frozen section at Meijer

Super WalMart has frozen meals called Chef's Choice. There are chicken and beef varities, and about 8-10 carbs per serving. I have tried a couple of them and they are pretty good.

my great uncle is on low carb diet and he says the best snack is those freezer pops that are liquid until you freeze them, he eats those through out the day to keep himself from eating anything else. it works for him, my kids love to go there with that freezer full of them!

I wish I could help lol. I prepare all my stuff cause the already made is WAY out of my budget I priced the atkins icecream bars at my local walmart, and it was almost $6 for 6 bars.
My mil makes something with sugarfree coolwhip. She mixes a box of sugarfree chocolate pudding, with the tub of coolwhip, and one of the small cartons of heavy cream. It's not bad, but stalls me when I eat it. It makes this really THICK chocolate fluff stuff.

Ohhh someone on the lowcarb site had said something about cinnamon crisps. It's pork rinds and you add melted butter, splenda, and cinnamon to the bag, and shake it up. Many there said it was quick, easy, and good. I hadn't tried it yet, cause I am the only one that likes stuff like that, and I will eat it all if no one else helps lol.

Walmart sells a low carb chocolate bar called De-lite. It is hands down the best one I have ever tried. Made with belgium chocolate it does not taste bad at all, as a matter of fact I like it way better than a regular hersey bar. They are pretty small and cost about $1 each but for that must have craving well worth it!!!

wow
Wow, you guys are good! I'll definetly check out some of those other sites and stuff at Wal-mart. I wouldn't mind making more meals, but I only know how to cook hamburger and throw in tomatoes.
Any EASY cooking, low carb suggestions?
I suppose I better learn sometime.
