Treat everyone with politeness, even those who
are rude to you - not because they are nice, but
because you are. ~ ?

Congratulations to you and your family!
What i did for my children to except a new baby was pretty easy!
Let your child know that he or she is going to have a baby, A good way for your child to except this is everynight from now on, have your child get a book and you all sit down and read, you tell your child, Your New baby loves books, lets read to it, this is a good way for you to relax also and not have to run after a 3 year old!
Have your child talk and sing to the unborn baby, your unborn baby will hear it and when it is born will reconize the voice!
Have your child go to every doctors appointments if possible this is a good way for your child to except the baby and see the progress!
Remember this is not just you and your Hubby's unborn baby, This is you, your Hubbys and your childs baby!!!!
My children never felt like they were left out, they felt they were all part of what took place in the past nine months!
Your child will continue to help you out after the baby is born, and also continue to sit down and read to your children!
You'll do fine! The sibling rivalry does'nt start till they hit teenage years...lol
Good Luck!

when i was having my 3rd, i bought the book - your pregnancy week by week. and every week, we'd sit down and read about the baby that week and it would show a picture of what the baby looked like that week, my kids just loved it.
also let her know if she WANTS to help you with the baby thats great, and how you know she will be a GREAT big sister, but if she doesn't want to help, that you certainly understand that too. and that you will always have time for her no matter what. just make sure she understands if you can't get to her at the exact minute she wants you that you will be as soon as you possibly can.
