Mudd and Lei jeans...

Do these run smaller or larger or neither? Because i was going to buy some but the place i was at didn't have a trying on room so i didn't get any. Someone once said one of these runs smaller and one runs bigger but i'm just wondering if anyone else knows

I'm not sure about those two. I have the same problem when buying pants. I bought a pair of the stretch flair from Lane Bryant and then a few days later I bought a pair of the stretch bootleg Levi's from Walmart in the same size and the Levi's are bigger. I could of gone down a size.

I have a pair of LEI stretch jeans in a size 7 that fit, but a pair of LEI carpenter jeans that are size 5 that fit..I usually wear an 8 in Jordache
I have a pair of Mudd that fit just like the size 5 LEIs' that are a size 9.

If I buy LEI stretch, I need a size 7, if it's regular denim, I wear a 5. I have one pair of Mudd jeans, secondhand, that are (I think) a 4 and they fit just like all my other jeans. However, I bought them at a thrift shop last fall & they had been washed and broken in nicely, so it's hard to judge. My dot, however, thinks Mudds run small. I probably have jeans in 4 different sizes, depending on the brand and 'type' of denim.

If you can go back to that place, wear your swim suit under your shorts & top, then you can go back in a corner of the shop and try them on! (little trick my dot & friend do when they hit the thrift shops)

Mudd tends to run a little small, I think. I wear sz 3 in most brands, except Mudd & Diesel. I have to a get sz 1 in those, and they fit the same as my 3's.

Well, I've noticed that it's different depending on the style. Because for a long time, I wore only Mudd Jeans and some would be 7 and some would be 9, it would just depend on the style and like JayBird said, the type of denim.

I think the Lei`s run bigger. I have a pair of hip huggers by them & I had to get a 1. My MUDD shorts are a 3. I usually wear between a 3 & 5 but when I buy Lei`s I need to get a 1 or they have to be stretch denim. HTH

I use to have some Lei's but they got holes the size of tires in them

They were a 1 and i normally wear a 3-5.

I bought my kids several pairs of Mudd and L.E.I. jeans from eBay. They varied quite a bit from brand to brand and even different styles had a huge difference in the way they fit. I would not recommend buying any if you can't try them on.

I think they're both Junior's brands. Junior sizes run small, and odd. So if you wear a size 8, you'd need to get a 9. Other than that, I don't know how true to size they are.
