They can be either. ANY lump should be checked.

    Exclamation Important Women's Health Question

    When doing self exams

This pertains to Lumps that are found under the armpit that could be a warning sign of Breast cancer

Are these lumps painless or can they be red, swollen and very painful?

"Please only give responses if you are absolutly positive to the answer, opinions are nice, but I really need a 100% positive answer to this question" Thank you so much.

To get a 100% postivie answer, I think you should see your doctor, sweetie. No lumps in the breast/armpit area should be guessed about. I urge you to get it checked out.

    Unhappy Thank you

I called and made an appointment with a doctor to have it checked out. Sd it didn't sound like anything serious because of the redness, swelling and pain. Said in most cases when it has to do with breast cancer it is painless. However these signs point to other lymph node problems and I should come in and have it checked it out just to be safe. I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to doctors but I'm gonna go even if my husband has to drag me in there

I'm glad you made an appointment! I hope it's nothing harmless, maybe a sebacious cyst, I had one of those. Could even be just an ingrown hair! Good luck, I hope you let us know how it goes! Sending Good vibes your way!
