Where Was You At At 330 This morning???

You all missed a fun night last night.. Storm came through vicious lightning and thunder woke me up at 230 and 3 finally got back to sleep. 330 pager went off and another storm is coming through.....except this time has a possible tornado in it.. Time to get dressed and go out and "spot". Here in the rural areas a Volunteer Fireman is also a "storm spotter" and what a treat it is at times to know that the storm missed your town or anyones possesions. Last nights storm caused a tornado that stayed out of town by 2 miles after it was suspossed to come right over town. However we live in a valley and all the old timers say a tornado will not go in a valley.. Being out in the rain, hail, winds, tornados will definately change the way you look at life... They are though so neat to see if and only if it causes no loss of life or possesions.... but we all know possesions can be replaced.....lives can't.

You must be a ways out from Wichita. I never heard a thing. Went to bed at 3 A.M. and all was quiet around here. Maybe it came through around 5 A.M. and I slept right through it. If I ever wake up flying through the air like Dorothy, I'm going to be mad.

I was in the bed sleeping away, but at 5:30am this morning we got a really bad storm too. The lightening was so bad and I never heard Thunder like that before. It was awful!

janelle it pretty much followed the Kansas/Nebraska border for about another 30 miles and then lifted up into Nebraska and weakened

Janelle suspossed to get round two today.....tonight and then heads toward Wichita.......later on talking large hail and winds

I saw one when I was 3. We were in a F5 tornado. To this day, I have nightmares about it.

Glad it missed your town tsquared. Hope todays isn't bad.

I just saw on the news of a tornado in Idaho.

Tsquared, you need to quit sending the storms to me in Va.!!! This is the 2nd time in a week. If ya want to share something, think of something better

I was asleep... I dont think a freight train barrelling through my house would have woke me up last night... I had been up from midnight til 3 am Sunday night cuz my lil boy was sick.....so I was a zombie all day yesterday.... LOL I went to bed at 10 pm last night and didnt hear ANYTHING til the alarm went off at 5 am this morning.... LOL
