Should I feel bad?
DBF was being really sweet and grilled me a steak to bring to work for dinner. I was really excited. I just bit into it and it's rare!!! I spit it back out because I hate rare. The site of a bloody steak is making my stomach turn. I don't know if I should say anything or just dump it and forget it or what. I feel so guilty for not eating it. Now, i am stuck here at work with no dinner....

I'm the same way...if I see pink when I cut into my meat, I cannot eat it. It literally makes me sick. That's why I didn't eat meat for a few years...I've just been able to handle it in the last few years though. Still...I don't want to chase my food before I eat it!

That's probably not blood that's probably red food coloring. They take the blood out of meat and replace it with red food coloring so people think the meat is fresh. When the ground beef is red it's food coloring, not sure about steak but may be the same thing.

If I had been around when he cooked it, I would have said something but I was mowing the yard.....not paying attention. Oh well, I ate half and took the rest home. My tummy was tied up in knots from having to deal with a very mean drunk and a transvestite last night. I seriously could not eat.
Tonight is BBQ pork chops and cobb salad. I *know* the chops got cooked all the way.
