This is so weird
If you watch the FOX news, we are winning the war and they explain why we should be in there. They have experts who explain why things are going the way they are and explain the reasons we haven't found weapons of mass destruction--they could be moving them around the country in trucks so the inspectors could't find any. DUH.
Then if you watch the other networks their interviews make one think we are having a really hard time with everything. The Iraqis don't want us there and we are the evil invaders. They are whipping our tail. The people they interview are experts who think we are going about everything the wrong way.
Just too crazy.

it's a matter of the particular network's bias.
example:
foxnews has a somewhat conservative/right-wing bias
cnn has a more liberal/left-wing

Then are the liberals trying to make the US look bad? We are in deep doodoo if our politicians take their politics into the war. Is this Bush's war or in a war aren't we all suppose to pull together no matte who the president is at the time. Since the media is mostly liberal are we stuck with that point of view? That's not news, that's propaganda.
So frustrating.

it's not that the liberals are trying to make the US look bad. almost all news media has a bias of some sort.
it's just that rightwingers are in general the war supporters, so foxnews is tailoring their coverage to their audience....just like it is mostly the liberal view of things to cover the war negatively...so the more liberla media networks do the same to support their view of the war.....each bias will find an expert who supports their view for commentary
which is why I tend not to rely on any one news source.
and.....when you get down to it....i think all wars have been rbought into political arena at the time they went on......it's nothing new. politics as usual.
