Info needed on Ft Worth/Dallas Area

My hubby might be transferring to the Ft.Worth/Dallas area..and we would be relocating there or an hour away from Ft. Worth..
we'd prefer more suburb/country type place..
Is anyone from there..and can you tell me what is a good area ..and what areas should I avoid??
    Thanks!!!

country areas - you can live in a place like Azle, which is closer towards FW, depending on what part of Ft. Worth or the area you would be living in. There's Joshua and Burleson, but parts of Joshua are kindof dirty, no offense to anyone who lives there (I'm talking the parts I've seen visiting people, not just driving through). But the best would be to get a map - there are tons of little towns along the edge of FW and about an hour away you are going to find tons of places - it just depends which direction And then, if you have a specific town, come back and ask, and we can tell you what we know:P

Weatherford is west of Ft Worth about 20 minutes, nice place, it is still close enough to being called country with a little more (lived there 10,years). Wouldn't recommend Azle, it has always been kind of trashy in my opinion (lived there for a couple of years), you could go north Saginaw, Rhome, Decatur, Trophy Club or Keller or south to Burleson, it isn't too bad. Of course I am only listing ones that are close to or on major highways. I could try and answer some ?'s for you if you would like.
    Have a great day.

    hi..

thanks, everyone has been so helpful.
I'm going to contact our relocator, and give them the names of these places you guys have mentioned..and then go from there...
I've been browsing pictures online of houses for sale, I've seen some really nice ones..and fairly reasonable prices.

Thanks again, and I will ask if I have questions later on!
