She was nice to look at but her values seemed to revolve around her clothing and her figure and her image - It is hard to be inspired by a mannequin

I'm not an expert on Diana.. but I do know that she spend a great deal of time helping the less fortunate.. she cared deeply about the plight of children and she was very active in helping get rid of, and treat vitims of land mines.... She fought against the "royals" and tried to raise her kids in a normal environment.... I think she worried alot more about other things than clothes.. in fact I remember reading that she really didn't care for all of the fashion "things" that she was required to do.

I'm sorry to those of you who thinks she was/is an inspiration.

I do not think she ever was. I believe like so many other prominent personalities that a good deal of her charity and good works were solely to upkeep her image and public approval. Not saying any more on why i think so or what behaviors indiciated such an idea to me.

Yes she was inspiring. She held her head up and smiled in spite of her crummy hubby (Charles) and his bedtime treat!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think he was envious or jealous of her relationship with "the people"....................
