I'm glad SOMEONE has confidence in me! It's hard, none of my friends understand, they are all smokers and think that IF they get ready they can just lay them down (I think they can too, it's just they don't understand that unless their fingers are broken they will be promptly picking them back up! LOL). I have conversations with myself and am so afraid of the smoker inside winning out! But thanks for your support! Trust me it helps alot!

I am ashamed to admit it but I am smoking again. I feel so horrible about it because I am constantly sneaking a cigarette here and there. But nevertheless being able to come here and getting this out is helping.I feel somewhat relieved to say this to someone. Please pray for me that I may once again be victorious in becoming a non-smoker again. I started again in the heat of the moment because I was having a arguement with my husband. Boy if I could turn back the hands of time. Thanks for listening and thanks for the support.

What do you mean constantly sneaking a cigarette here and there? Who are you hiding it from? Yourself is all that matters and you can't sneak and hide from yourself. You made a slip up and that is ok as long as you keep trying. I may slip up today who knows? (Came close yesterday. Just set another quit date and start again. We can do it! (Remind me later that I said that! LOL)

Maybe I'm stupid and naive but I believe that if I had known 24 years ago that it would be this hard to give smoking up I would have never started. People who don't smoke, tend to not understand for the most part but I wish I had understood and not ever started!

Thanks so much for checking! I thought you guys forgot about me! LOL
I am still a non-smoker although I will admit I thought by now it would be easier. I have tried to quit in the past and I never remember it being this hard after the first 24 hours. (In the past I have always caved to major stress, death in family etc.). I just pray it gets easier today! Thanks for the 5 D's. I'm gonna try and print it to a business card to carry in my pocket.
