Hey deniers, Navy just said THIS about bringing charges against Chattanooga hero

Written by Ashley Edwardson on August 4, 2015

Apparently the Department of Defense is leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to find a way to charge Chattanooga Navy Lt. Commander White for being in possession of a gun while at work on his assigned base.

As you’re probably aware LTC (ret) West stirred up a hornets nest when he posted that he had exclusive information leading believe the Navy intended to charge LCDR White for his efforts to shoot and kill a terrorist who was on the base killing Marines and wounding a Navy sailor.

Per this post from Western Journalism,
“A Navy officer and Marine reportedly returned fire at the shooter who killed five service members in Chattanooga, Tenn., even though current policy does not permit military members to carry firearms on facilities such as those where the attack occurred.

The cold-blooded assault killed four Marines and one active-duty Navy reservist. The center’s commanding officer, Lt. Cmdr. Timothy White, used his personal firearm to engage the shooter during the attack, according to sources quoted in the Navy Times. A report from The Washington Post said that one of the Marines killed in the shooting might have been carrying a 9 mm Glock and possibly returned fire on the shooter.”
At the time, Western Journalism wrote,
“Lt. Cmdr. White could face disciplinary action for violating policy about possessing a weapon on the facility that was supposedly a gun-free zone. The investigation into the attack is ongoing, and authorities will not know if White or the Marine hit the shooter until an autopsy and a ballistics report have been completed.”
Col. West said the thought of the commander being charged was making his blood boil. He added
”I never like to be reactionary and follow anything that may just be hyperbole or conspiracy theory. That’s why I held off on addressing this issue until I got confirmation — which came Friday afternoon via text message.”
What happened after that was like a nuclear explosion. Hundreds if not thousands of Americans apparently had blood boiling too. Some started petitions on the White House webpage in support of LCDR White and the heroic actions he took that day to try and save lives. Others had blood boiling over the fact that more than FIVE years after another scumbag terrorist claimed lives at Ft. Hood, Texas and a recruiter’ office in Arkansas ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE BY THE DoD OR THE PENTAGON OR THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF TO ARM OUR MILITARY PERSONNEL. The status quo is fine with them — they’re not the ones in the line of fire. We received hundreds of emails asking for the contact information for the Sec. of Defense and Navy. Many people left comments on the Facebook page of the Sec. of Defense and received hundreds of “like”s for those comments.

The Inquisitor reported a rather tepid response from the Navy on a Navy Facebook page:
“Stories of Navy personnel being charged with an offense are not true. There is still a long way to go in reviewing the facts of this tragic incident, but at this time we can confirm no service member has been charged with an offense.”
    However,
“A Navy official told Fox News that punishing a lieutenant commander who used an unauthorized weapon to fire back at the Chattanooga gunman who shot and killed five service members could not be “completely ruled out". The Navy said in a statement that it had not charged any service members with an offense at the present time.”
    Right, “at the present time.”

Folks, it’s not time to stop the party and go home. This “denial” from the Navy on its Facebook page reeks of the same kind of “you can keep your doctor if you like your doctor” semantics game that paper pushers in Washington love to play with the American public. The statement clearly did not say they don’t intend to charge him. It didn’t say he was a hero. This officer could have fallen down and faked death. He could have run to another location. Instead, knowing that his troops were in harms way, he stepped up and did what warriors do. Our military men have taken an oath or protect and defend the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic and they know this means fighting even to the death. But do we honestly expect them to face death with ZERO means to defend themselves? It’s shameful, it’s absurd, and it’s immoral to put a warrior in that position.

Here is the dilemma in which the Navy finds itself. The community organizer in chief has continued the shameful, absurd, and immoral directive of past presidents on this issue of disarming our troops. He could undo this in 60 seconds with his famous pen and phone. Instead, the Navy knows if it does not charge the commander most military personnel will consider that an unofficial green light to arm up so they can at least have a fighting chance the next time some dirt bag terrorist tries to kill them. They will have hundreds of thousands of warriors arming in spite of the president’s orders that they continue to be sitting ducks for the slime terrorists we are fighting.

If they decide to charge him they are sending a message to the troops that their lives are meaningless to the brass that run the military. They will be broadcasting, loud and clear, to all the bottom feeding terrorists who want to attack Americans that their own Pentagon leaders would rather see them dead than give our warriors a chance to defend themselves during an attack.

But worse, I believe all hell will break loose in the “civilian” ranks. Keep emailing and calling your Congressmen. We MUST have the backs of our military personnel because it’s obvious no one in Washington does.
