Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton (pronounced /ˈhɪləri daɪˈæn ˈrɒdəm ˈklɪntən/; born October 26, 1947) is the 67th United States Secretary of State, serving within the administration of President Barack Obama. She was a United States Senator for New York from 2001 to 2009. As the wife of the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton, she served as First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001. In the 2008 election Clinton was a leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.
A native of Illinois, Hillary Rodham attracted national attention in 1969 for her remarks as the first student commencement speaker at Wellesley College. She embarked on a career in law after graduating from Yale Law School in 1973. Following a stint as a Congressional legal counsel, she moved to Arkansas in 1974 and married Bill Clinton in 1975. Rodham cofounded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families in 1977, and became the first female chair of the Legal Services Corporation in 1978. Named the first female partner at Rose Law Firm in 1979, she was twice listed as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America. First Lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and 1983 to 1992 with husband Bill as Governor, she successfully led a task force to reform Arkansas's education system. She sat on the board of directors of Wal-Mart and several other corporations.
In 1994 as First Lady of the United States, her major initiative, the Clinton health care plan, failed to gain approval from the U.S. Congress. However, in 1997 and 1999, Clinton played a role in advocating the establishment of the State Children's Health Insurance Program, the Adoption and Safe Families Act, and the Foster Care Independence Act. Her time as First Lady drew a polarized response from the American public. She is the only First Lady to have been subpoenaed, testifying before a federal grand jury in 1996 due to the Whitewater controversy, but was never charged with any wrongdoing in this or any of several other investigations during her husband's administration. The state of her marriage was the subject of considerable speculation following the Lewinsky scandal in 1998.
After moving to the state of New York, Clinton was elected as a U.S. Senator in 2000. That election marked the first time an American First Lady had run for public office; Clinton was also the first female senator to represent the state. In the Senate, she initially supported the Bush administration on some foreign policy issues, including a vote for the Iraq War Resolution. She subsequently opposed the administration on its conduct of the war in Iraq and on most domestic issues. Senator Clinton was reelected by a wide margin in 2006. In the 2008 presidential nomination race, Hillary Clinton won more primaries and delegates than any other female candidate in American history, but narrowly lost to Senator Barack Obama. As Secretary of State, Clinton became the first former First Lady to serve in a president's cabinet.

Sarah Louise Palin (pronounced /ˈpeɪlɨn/ ( listen); née Heath; born February 11, 1964) is an American politician who served as Governor of Alaska from 2006 until her resignation in 2009. She was the Republican candidate for Vice President of the United States in 2008.
Palin was a member of the Wasilla, Alaska, city council from 1992 to 1996 and the city's mayor from 1996 to 2002. After an unsuccessful campaign for Lieutenant Governor of Alaska in 2002, she chaired the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission from 2003 until her resignation in 2004. She was elected Governor of Alaska in November 2006. Palin became the first female governor of Alaska and the youngest person ever elected governor of that state.
In 2008, Republican presidential candidate John McCain chose Palin as his running mate in that year's presidential election, making her the second female candidate and the first Alaskan candidate of either major party on a national ticket, as well as the first female vice-presidential nominee of the Republican Party. Since the defeat of the McCain–Palin ticket in the 2008 election, there has been speculation that she may run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.[8][9]
On July 3, 2009, Palin announced she would not seek reelection as governor and that she was resigning, effective July 26, 2009, eighteen months prior to the completion of her first term. She cited ethics complaints that had been filed following her selection as running mate to John McCain as the reason for her resignation, saying the resulting investigations had affected her efficacy to govern the state.[10][11][12]
That's what so great about Hillary IMO.
I don't even see a college or trade school listed, let alone any type of law school for Sarah.

And Hillary is Secretary of State today & Sarah is what again today......
Perhaps professional blogger & has her 1st book at what age, 45yrs old, she'll never have the intelligence Hillary does. What law school or college has Sarah ever gone to may I ask. What's her qualifications again, looks & personality, sportscaster/reporter & commercial fisherman helper. By golly she may look good, but where's a law degree or something equivelant to that. Perky & looks has gotten her this far, that's what men like & men are the majority.
That's where all this Team Sarah malarky comes in, rah, rah rah, go Team Sarah, go!
Her Bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism has gotten her her professional blogger title.
I rest my point...........
My mistake, she did go to college she won "Miss Congeniality" award and a college scholarship after winning the Miss Alaska Pageant.
Palin was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, the third of four children born to Sarah and Charles R. Heath, respectively a school secretary and science teacher / track coach. The family moved to Alaska when she was an infant. She attended Wasilla High School,[13] where she was the head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of the girls' cross country team. As captain and point guard of the school's girls' basketball team that won the Alaska state championship in 1982, she gained the nickname "Barracuda" for her competitive streak.[14][15] She graduated in 1982.
She attended Hawaii Pacific University in the Fall of 1982 and North Idaho College (whose Alumni Association gave her the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award in June 2008[16]) in the Spring and Fall of 1983.[17] In 1984, after winning the Miss Wasilla pageant,[18][19] she finished third in the Miss Alaska pageant,[20][21] receiving the "Miss Congeniality" award and a college scholarship.[14]
She attended the University of Idaho in the Fall of 1984 and Spring of 1985, Matanuska-Susitna College in the Fall of 1985, and the University of Idaho again in the Spring and Fall of 1986 and the Fall of 1987, when she received her Bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism.[4][17][22][23]
Palin's early ambition was to be a sportscaster.[24] Accordingly, after graduating, she worked as a sportscaster [25] for KTUU-TV and KTVA-TV in Anchorage,[26] and as a sports reporter for the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman.[27][28] In 1988, she eloped with her childhood sweetheart Todd Palin, believing that her parents "couldn't afford a big white wedding."[29][30] After the marriage, she helped in her husband’s commercial fishing business.[31]

Well I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. You like Hilary I like Sarah. We'll see what the future holds.

I'm not knocking you gymers, but Hillary has far more knowledge & experience than Sarah could ever have & I don't believe Hillary made all women look weak & stupid by any means & that comment sounds like a conservative republican ignorant remark. When all else fails the consevative republicans (not necessarily you) start screaming about the Lewinsky scandal & I think Hillary went through enough & shouldn't be downed or shamed anymore for standing by Bill's side. We couldn't ever in our wildest dreams imagine what it would be like to be humiliated around the world, so IMO it's mean, ruthless & very hateful to continue to shame that woman, she's been through alot & keeps on keeping on & is doing a tremendous job today with being Secretary of State and at her age. She's a go getter & she gets things done, and she puts everything she has in to it to get it done, I admire the $h!t out of that woman & have nothing but love & respect for her. So I fight tooth & nails to back her when someone is trying to knock her down. I'm a loyal supporter of hers.
Peace my friend!

The comment might sound mean but its the truth. People say they wouldn't want Sarah for president because she quit. But I wouldn't want Hilary because she didn't leave him for what he did. And other countries would take that as a sign of weakness on her part and think they can take advantage of her too. Not knocking her just saying thats the way I feel about that situaton. If she had divorced him and went on with her life to run for president I would have a lot of respect for her and she might have made a good president.

So you don't like Hilary because she didn't leave Bill, yet you would have stayed with Tiger?

Which comment, if it's the one that says she made all women look weak & stupid, that is not the truth in this country. In most other countries women aren't treated as equals or not even treated well or fairly.
I don't Hillary at any point is gonna let anyone take advantage of her ever again, no way, no how.
You believe Hillary stayed with Bill for political reasons & if you were in Elin's position you'd stay for the money. What you believe is what is gonna benefit you the best. Not all people think that way.

Theres no way I would stay. I meant she ought to stay just to make him pay for what he did. And I'm not just talking about money either. I definitely don't have a lot of respect for someone that just acts like nothing happened and lets them get away with it.

No I believe she should stay to make every day of those two years miserable for him. I could care less about the money.
