Iran says there will be preconditions prior to talks

'Iran has conditions for direct US talks'
    Sat, 11 Oct 2008 16:09:21 GMT

Kalhor proposes two conditions for direct Iran-US talks.
An Iranian presidential aide has proposed two conditions Washington would be required to fulfill before holding direct talks with Tehran.

"It is the United States that needs to have relations with Iran," said Mehdi Kalhor, the media consultant to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, on Saturday.

Washington's stance on Iran has been among the top foreign policy issues of the 2008 US presidential elections.

Republican presidential nominee John McCain says he would follow a set of policies toward Tehran, which echo the policies of the incumbent president, George W. Bush.

Democratic candidate Barack Obama says he would engage the Iranian government in direct negotiations over its nuclear program if elected.

On Saturday, Kalhor said Tehran would accept 'repentance' on behalf of the US government toward the Iranian people.

"Negotiations would be rational if the US moves out of the Middle East and the US government gives up its widespread support for the Zionist regime," he said.

So much for talking without preconditions. Takes TWO parties to do that.

    Zionist regime=Israel?

Well there are your preconditions Barack. Going to take them? He probably will. We will have another Carter and we are screwed if Obama gets in.

I think it's going to be much much worse than Carter. Did you notice the first thing he has to do is some heavy duty sucking up?

Next, he has to remove all troops from the middle east. Then, he has to STOP supporting Israel. Do you think he will? I think he might. I hope we don't find out.

This is just a sampling of the niave BHO. His statement "gonna meet without preconditions' just put Iran in charge of the show and I think that was a bad bad move. He just handed them power.

Those are huge preconditions. Yet with Obama we will sit down with none on our side. We are screwed.

The bottom line is that President Obama lied to get support for the Iran Nuclear deal. “And his surrogates lied, and therefore the media lied,” Levin said.

“And [Obama] surrendered America’s National Security to do so..."
